Discipline

It is the aim of Tenambit Public School to provide children with the skills to control their own behaviour, to develop self-discipline in the playground and in the classroom. The procedures the school has developed to deal with discipline problems aim to help children develop better behaviours. Procedures include timeout, establishing plans to solve problems, counselling, Social Skill development sessions, meetings with parents and suspension.

Student Responsibilities

  • Obey school rules and dress appropriately
  • Respect others and their differences and be proud of who you are
  • Cooperate with teachers, listen and attend school
  • Let others join in, be a good sport and cooperate
  • Look after and use equipment responsibly
